Hello CS forums.

Simple question: Is it against the TOS to trade Blizzard Store Bought game time for in-game gold?

I know buying gold is out of the question.

That is part one of the scenario.

Part two: If someone were to do this and the person offering gold does -not- follow through, can a Blizzard GM do anything about this?

Or would the Game time buyer be out of luck?

Would love a Blue response as obviously it kidn of touches a grey area in the TOS.

Simple answer: Yes.

Slightly more complex answer: Exchanging any out-of-game service for in-game currency, including pre-purchased time, is a violation of our Terms of Service.

As others have stated, out of game for out of game is okay. In-game for in-game is okay. Crossing the two is bad news.

You would be participating in an unsupported transaction that is a violation of our Terms of Service. We would be in a place to action any and all violations of our Terms of Service. An illicit scam is still a scam, and we would take all appropriate actions based on our policies. It is unlikely restoration would be possible.
