Just wondering if Blizzard is doing anything to stop the gold spammers from spelling out names with their toons in major cities? I can't have a decent convorsation, cause all I get is spam of "gjkngksn falls asleep" and all they're doing is hanging in the air spelling out URLS?

Well, I'd like to hear that from a Blue post, not a level 1. And there is no point to open a ticket, cause tickets take 4 days minimum to deal with.

Well, as these forums are primarily here for players to discuss the game with other players, Zod, it would be remiss of you to ignore the information Agonist provided simply because he is posting on a level one.

The level of the character is entirely irrelevant. You can share correct information and post on a low level character. Much like you can be incorrect while posting on an 80.

Such as your information regarding wait times. Queue times are currently at 1 day 2 hours and 30 minutes, not at a minimum of 4 days, nor have they been near 4 days for awhile now.

In fact, looking at your previous petitions it seems that they were addressed in: 8 hours 30 minutes, around 5 hours, and around 24 hours.

We understand the frustration these advertisements cause, Zod, and our Developers are working on a method to prevent this type of behavior but as Agonist indicated this does take a bit of time.

As for reporting, it isn't entirely necessary at this point. I outlined the latest information in a previous post here:

We would rather not work on developing a new system to report this type of advertisement, Copperstaff, and instead focus our efforts are in addressing this type of advertisement in a more proactive way and eventually implement a way to prevent them all together.

We have recently implemented a means to locate and address these characters while they are advertising, the results are not immediate but they are having a noticeable affect, at least from our point of view.

Though in most cases reporting this activity is no longer necessary, if you have seen a set of characters advertising for an extended period of time please feel free to submit a petition. Make sure you include keywords such as "Body Advertisement" or "Body Spam" and give a generalized location (i.e. Stormwind Bank, Orgrimmar Auction House).

As previously stated we are working to implement preventative measures and are not entirely happy with just reactionary ones. This is a fairly complicated issue as it is important to prevent this type of exploitation without negatively impacting legitimate players. Thank you for your continuing efforts in keeping your realm free of such behavior.

Was this on a different account, Zod? I'm afraid I see none of those petitions.
