this guy was selling the swift spectral tiger code in trade chat for 3k gold. So I figured why not, I'll buy. He gave me a code and told me to go to a website to redeem it, I dont know if I should post it here, but arent you supposed to redeem items at a vendor in game?

These types of trades are not supported and chances are that it was a scam. As others have mentioned, feel free to open an in game ticket and our game masters will investigate accordingly.
