Ok, why ...

There is a user on my server; he constantly spams trade with abusive things like using punctuation marks over a 3-4 line spam to display a middle finger, or 2 people having sex, random crap no one wants to see. On top of that he spams in trade constantly multiple lines of the same text over and over one after another. His language is poor and every other word is in caps or is swearing. I have reported SPAM on this guy SOOOOO many times I can't keep track ... I have opened GM tickets ... and yet here he is again today doing the same thing... when is enough enough? When does he go away for good? How many months of this do I need to endure?

1. Yes I know, leave trade. NTY. Trade is used alot on my server for PUGs ...
2. Ignore him. I could, but that doesn't answer my question of why is this abuse allowed to continue over MONTHS.
3.Stop QQing ... I would, except it really bothers me when I have done everything within reason to have this issue addressed and it feels like they just don't care... when the person continues to do this stuff. Its all logged, its out in the open, and its continuous for months now.
4. They won't tell me about actions .... I know, but HE'S STILL HERE!! How many 'actions' does he need on his account (if he even has one) before they just close the account?

Eilethalua has already responded with much of what I was going to add to this conversation, but there was one more point you made I wanted to address.

Q u o t e:
Now, I am sorry but my statement gets me into hot water, thats my own fault ... but how is it I can get repremanded while someone who ROUTINELY ABUSES the system walks away and lives to spam another day?

The difference may be, Kaelel, that your situation was reported to us, and no one has been reporting the individual you are mentioning. If you have only reported him once or twice, he may not have learned his lesson from having the appropriate actions taken on his account. You, on the other hand, took what warning you were given to heart, and as a result, have not been reported or actioned again. Not everyone is quick to drop their bad habits, and it is in these situations we really do need players to help us track these offenders down. We are a reactive service, something that is necessary with our number of servers and players in comparison to our staff numbers - so without reports from other players, we won't know who to investigate.

I hope that might shed some light on the situation. =)
