Reported hacker, he's still in game

What is the policy on reporting Wintergrasp wall hackers? I have like six screenshots of this guy in the wall including the chat messages for opening (i.e. mining/herbing) (which I turned on in the chat frame).

I opened a ticket, got a generic response, and am just wondering what the punishments are for him (I thought hacking meant insta ban) and also what kind of evidence I need to provide that he is in fact hacking.

Also, what kind of investigation is performed and how long does it take?

P.S. I put a screenshot to an imageshack link actually in the ticket, but I'm not going to put it here. I had my RealID friend list open when I took the screenie (such a n00b).

Exploitation of this nature does come with a relatively harsh penalty up to account closure, but such reports take time to investigate. We do not use screenshots or transitory evidence such as pure visual inspection. We must verify such behavior within our systems.

If you have reported this character the report will be forwarded for further investigation. If you witness this player after a few weeks please feel free to report them again and we'll make sure everything is progressing. Beyond that I'm afraid we are unable to provide many details. We are unable to provide information regarding another's account, even in such cases.

I can assure you though that we take this type of behavior very seriously and work to remove it as quickly as possible. :)
