Blizzard.....

I'm tired of bringing this up...I'm getting absolutely no results. It's like I'm talking to a wall for pete's sake. Good grief.

>.>

I am getting a spam message every day....literally... every single day with the exact same message...asking me to go visit their website for some surprise. I'm not stupid. I'm not going to the website.

*edit* is the name of the character sending me this exact same mail message every day. For several days now...I have used the report spam feature located in the mailbox.....again...let me reiterate - NO results what so ever have been taken! Why am I still getting mail from this character? Can't you get rid of this character? Or do something at least? I've put in tickets in-game as well.

For the love of God!

Jendelle, as the others have stated, you are likely not receiving multiple mails from an individual - it is probably the same mail.

When you use the 'Report Spam' feature on an In-Game Mail, it immediately places that person on a temporary ignore list. When a player is on an ignore list of any kind, all forms of communication are made 'invisible' (though they still technically happen or exist somewhere). As the temporary ignore list is cleared every time you log in/out of the game, this means that when you report an in-game mail, it gets made 'invisible' in your inbox, you log out, log in, and the mail is visible again. This process never truly deletes the mail.

I know this can be confusing, but I hope this provides clarity on the issue.

Mentioning the nationality of the gold spammers or advertisers in general is mostly unnecessary - better to avoid that can of worms altogether.
