Where are all of the in-game GMs?

Okay, I opened a ticket to speak to a GM yesterday evening. I waited several hours, until I finally had to go to sleep. I logged on for most of the morning, and now a good part of the afternoon. No response yet. Generally, I think the GMs are great, but where are they? There's been no recent upgrade. No major anything, as far as I can tell.

I apologize for the 2 day wait you had to experience for assistance. As our player base keeps growing the need for assistance from us, is also on the rise. Keep in mind there are places such as the Customer Service forums and now http://twitter.com/BlizzardCS to view information for the particular issue you may be experiencing.

This may have saved some time and helped you with the issue you were experiencing. Many players request assistance for the same reasons, even though the information may be available already.
