Abandoned Quest and Lost Quest Progression

I was on two quests in a quest chain, Ape Hunter's Slave and Tormenting the Softknuckle. I had completed Ape Hunter's Slave and turned it in but lost Goregek, my companion. I had abandoned the quest Tormenting The Softknuckle. Now, I cannot get the quest back from the quest giver. I even tried talking to Harkek and he does not give me shackles. At this point, I cannot progress along the chain (which eventually allows you to side with Oracles or Frenzies). This occured at approximately 4:05pm pacific time. I'm at a loss because I wish to progress and have tried different things to get the quest back, but I cannot. Please help. Thank you.

Edit: Nevermind. I had figured it out. Didn't notice I still had shackles in inventory. I feel stupid. :(
