The water damage could have very well thrown off the code generator. In order to have the malfunctioning Authenticator removed, you will need to contact the Billing & Account Services Department by calling one of the following numbers. Be sure to have the device handy when speaking with a representative, as they'll need the serial number off of the back of it (assuming it is still readable).

    Billing & Account Services

  • Phone Support — 1-800-59-BLIZZARD (1-800-592-5499)
      Support Hours — 7:00am to 8:00pm PST/PDT, 7 days a week

  • Users in Australia should call 1-800-041-378
  • Users in Chile should call 1230-020-5554
  • Users in Mexico should call 001-888-578-7628
  • Users in Argentina should call 0800-333-0778
  • Other international users should call 1-949-955-0283

Keep in mind that they have been experiencing a high volume of calls lately, so you may receive a message stating that no more calls can be taken. If you do, then hang up and immediately redial the number. As there are "on hold" spots constantly being freed up, redialing the number a few times should increase your chances of getting into the queue before someone else.
