Problem with raid lock

Hopefully this is the correct place to post this.

I had joined a raid for 25 man VOA, and while waiting for the raid to fill, I flew into ICC to check out what different pieces of gear were available from the emblem dealer. When I went it, the raid leader had not set the raid to 25, it was still in 10 man. I received a message saying that I was now saved to that instance. I did not receive a box telling me how many bosses were down and whether I wanted to be saved.

Opening the raid browser, I now have a lock on my ICC 10 man raid. I was intending to actually raid with my guild this Friday.

Should this have happened? Am I misunderstanding how you can be saved to an instance? Is there a way to get this lock removed?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You should have received notification, Pryncesspaly, before you were locked into the raid. If you did not you may want to look into resetting your User Interface as it may have caused an issue with proper notification.

Though I can not guarantee it, if you have not participated in the instance that you are currently locked into our In-Game Support staff may be able to help. These cases are not entirely common but it doesn't hurt to ask so if you like feel free to submit an in-game petition. :)

Good luck!
