Missing heirlooms, perhaps on deleted toon

Today I decided to delete a low-level warlock and reroll a new one. I recently leveled a mage and dual-spec'd my druid to resto, and was under the impression that my cloth/spellpower heirlooms were in one of those characters' inventories. On the character screen, the warlock did not have them on, so I went ahead and deleted him and made the new character. Upon searching for the cloth heirlooms, I can't find them, and am beginning to think I may have (for some random reason) mailed them to the warlock that I deleted and never gotten them out of the mailbox. I've gone through all my characters inventories and banks, and can't find the heirlooms there either, so it leads me to think they may have been on the warlock, though I can't remember ever sending them to him.

To this end, I'd love either a character restore of the warlock, or if the items can be located on him, for the items to just be mailed to my main character, Dalian.

All of this is on the realm Kel'Thuzad.
Deleted character: Payle, level 14 Human Warlock
Known items missing: Tattered Dreadmist Robe, Exquisite Sunderseer Mantle, and Dignified Headmaster's Charge

Thanks for any help. I've also opened an in-game ticket.

Well, you were on the right track, Dalian - but these were actually found deleted in your Druid's mail.

Please check that mail and retrieve those items at your earliest convenience.
