Cant transfer characters from account

I did RAF and created a new account to level two level 60 characters. When I put my dad's name on the new account I put david for his first name which is his legal name. But when he made this account for me originally I guess he put dave, the last name is obviously the same. Is there anything I can do to get the character transfered over? Im guessing your going to say talk to billing. The problem is ive been trying to get ahold of them every day for over 2 weeks and I still cant get thru. Please help.

When you attempted the transfer, Thestreak, did you receive an error message? If so can you please provide the exact text of what it said?

There are several reasons why you would have received this error message.

1) The names on the accounts are different.

2) You are attempting to transfer a character from an account to an account that has not been similarly upgraded, meaning you cannot transfer a character from a Wrath of the Lich King account to an account that has not been upgraded to Wrath.

3) Transfers to a Battle.net account are restricted for 30 days once the World of Warcraft account is merged.

With that said, I will gladly look into this further if you would like. Can you please provide me the character name and realm of the character you wish to transfer? I will also need a character name and realm on the account you are transferring to.

that would be it, the account that I made is still only basic. now if jsut the first names are slightly differnt such as in my case will that prevent me from that as well?

No, we will not prohibit you from processing a character transfer if on one account the first name is David and on the second account the first name is Dave. The service will verify the last names match, however.
