Lemme first start by saying,Im not the type to complain but something has to be done! I canceled my account about 6 months ago along with me and my wife and a friend. We all recently re subscribed only to find all of our accounts had been hacked into and played while they were inactive, how can you play a account that isn't even active??!My friend is still not paying for his account but i see him on EVERYDAY and i know its not him and i know for a fact he hasnt paid for his account, but there he is sure as %!## there is someone else playing his char.My wife petitioned a GM while he was on,the gm kicked him and like 15 min later he just signed back on like nothing happend.Should we really have to pay for a authenticator cause it seems to me that you owe us a free one!

We DO do something - an incredible amount as a matter of fact, but we have no control over a player's system, what emails they choose to answer, the people they may share information with they should not, etc.

We also do our very best to assist players that find themselves in this position - but time can be an enemy of a restoration.

Promptly reported compromises typically have very good results.

Just about everything a compromised player needs to know can be found in this handy sticky.

This sticky may be useful.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
