Hello, I find it fun soloing old content. After I got through MC easily I wanted to try my luck with AQ40. So I was in a raid with a level 60 - him being the raid leader - , who wanted gear from Skarem. I had agreed to solo Skarem in exchange for gold. I had my pet solo Skarem while I LOS feigned behind a pillar to avoid Mind Control. Eventually my pet finished Skarem off, in which he quickly disappered not letting us loot him.

I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else before, or if I did something to make him vanish into thin air.

There is the issue.

You NEVER get credit for a kill if your pet does all the damage, be it grey murloc's or Arthas :)

That has always been that way.
