Left Instance Before I Won an Item

Not sure where to post this.. but...
I rolled need on Seethe from Heroic Forge of Souls earlier today and I then left the group and got ported out. A friend of mine in the run told me that I won the item. I didn't get it in my inventory, so I was wondering if I lost out or if it would be mailed to me like the bags from doing lfd leveling.

Good luck, Batterie, since you won the item through the Need before Greed system and you were simply unable to claim it the item would have remained on the corpse inaccessible by anyone else in the group. Though I can not guarantee that we'll be able to help I would say you have pretty good odds that we will. :)

Hang in there, Batterie, queue times are currently around 1-2 days for these issues.
