Deleting and then restoring in the future?

I plan on deleting a level 80 character, just fed up with him and I have a tendency to still end up playing him even though I dislike it. Can I delete him, and maybe sometime a year from now if I ask for a restore is it possible?

Hi Corbs,

A character restoration is only possible if our game masters are able to verify that the character previously exited on the account. The longer you let time pass by, the harder it will be to verify and recover the character. You also want to keep in mind that character restorations are not always guaranteed.
