Recruit a Friend Expired

I was wondering if Blizzard could help me out. Due to unfortunate circumstances, my friend that I recruited and I were not able to play much the past few weeks on WoW. Our accounts are no longer linked as of 5 days ago, and I was just wondering if Blizz could cut me a break and let us do the free levels thing still.

Well that's not entirely true, Gileneas, this is more than just a business to many of us as we are just as invested in this game as any other gamer.

Unfortunately the way the Recruit a Friend system works it is simply not currently possible to add time to the link or use the in-game RaF abilities such as level granting once that link has expired. I'm sorry.
