I'm very confused it says it was "from" wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com but when i click show details the bottom says it was "emailed-by" hotmail.fr

When I visit the link and I was already logged into battle.net on another window, it just brings me to account management on battle.net already signed in.

How can this be a scam if I don't enter my password anywhere?

Also is there a way to check prior offenses on my account from battle.net so I can check if I have really broken any rules?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks! ^_^

You may want to check your system to make sure you didn't pick up anything but it is possible that the link you clicked on was correct and the hyperlink they were attempting to use wasn't added correctly.

Beyond reviewing e-mails that we have sent regarding prior offenses, I'm afraid not. If your account was suspended, locked or closed though you'd know immediately because you wouldn't be able to log in. We also do not threaten with a possible suspension. Either you violated our policies or you didn't.

For more information on these types of phishing attempts and how to check if an e-mail is legitimate please check out the following thread.

Remove the link. It's fake. Keylogger site. Remove it because you could get a forum ban and provide the keyloggers with some extra accounts.

The link currently posted in the main thread is legitimate, Shortdeth. :)

worldofwarcraft.com, blizzard.com and battle.net would all be official addresses. Usually in these e-mails the link they click doesn't go where it says it does. Hovering over the link can show you the actual destination.
