I recently lost my authenticator. I want to remove it, and Use my iPhone as a Authenticator. I understand you have to Fill out a form and Send it to blizzard. Can i Fax the form in? How long till I get a Response?

Thanks.

If you do not have the authenticator, do you by chance have the classic World of Warcraft authentication key (CD key)? If you still have this key in your possession, and are able to provide the answer to the Battle.net Secret Question, Account Services should be able to assist you over the phone.

Hang in there as the hold times can be extensive, but contacting them by phone would provide the quickest resolution.

I do not have the Cd key, Will I be able to still remove it by phone? I do however know my secrete question. I just do not have the World of Warcraft CD Key.

I just don't want to waste time calling, and them saying I need to send my Photo ID via snail mail.

Account Services tends to be fairly strict when it comes to authenticator removal and as such will only accept the details I mentioned above.

I have requested an email be sent to the registered email address on the account you are posting from. This email will contain the instructions on what is needed to remove the authenticator from the account. You should receive this email shortly.

While I cannot provide an exact ETA as to when the documentation will be processed, I can advise you will receive an email once the issue has been addressed.
