Ninja Looting - Blizz doesn't really care?

Is Ninja Looting raid epics to you and/or a buddy in the raid seem to be perfectly acceptable these days?

I only ask because it not only does it seem to be getting out of hand but when you (and multiple) people open GM tickets to report the abuser, nothing is done. The abuser isn't banned nor are his or his friend's epic items taken away.

I guess the threat of a ban caused the abuser to change his name over night and I am assuming that either Blizzard doesn't have to tools to follow this trail or more than likely, doesn't care.

Now as usual, 22+ other raiders are again saved to a raid instance id that has failed for another week all because someone abused the loot system.

So I ask Blizzard, is this perfectly acceptable because by your inactions, you are telling players that this is perfectly acceptable behaviour.

Maybe Blizzard should just post that this is an okay practice so that we can all get in on the action?

What behavior? The Master Looting determining who will receive the items that drop? That is how the Master Looter system is designed. There are a few different looting options that were put into the game by our Developer, Oddfish, the Master Looter system is meant to be used by people who have reason to trust one another.

The fact remains that what you term "ninja looting" which is technically to take an item that you are not qualified for, is not possible within the game. Now in cases where we believe a scam may have taken place and it is reported to us, we will look into the report and take what actions are appropriate.

Instead, perhaps you can gain a better understanding of how to use the different looting options and take steps to protect yourself.

Obviously with no meaningful enforcement and no stiff penalties, it seems that the reward is worth the consequences.

Well first off, it is not a good idea to believe someone when they talk about what actions may or may not have been taken against them. The truth is rarely a part of that discussion.

Otherwise, MS > OS is not generally considered a looting rule. I'm sorry, Oddfish, but if that was the extent of it, you might want to review Barolas's advice and the advice found in the link I provided.
