Blatant favoritism on MG and on our forums.

This has to end. I am not sure where else to post this, because posts regarding this matter get deleted quickly on our server forums.

While inane posts slip through the cracks and are never taken down, any CONSTRUCTIVE (non-trolling) posts regarding the actions of the user [Removed]or his guild, [Removed] are always taken down from the forums if they are even the tiniest bit negative. It seemed as though this user had an 'in' with a GM, but there was no definitive proof. Now, these pictures have come up:

[Removed]

(a clearer version of this picture. I circled the name to look for in this one: Also, so people can understand the first pic a bit better: [Removed] )

[Removed]

They clearly show a GM at this guild's RP event.

The guild and it's owner have been receiving special treatment on the forums for some time now. It took quite a few offenses before the leader was banned from the boards, and the lackeys in his guild continue his legacy, letting him pull their strings from behind the scenes.

Why is this blatant favoritism allowed to go on? If this is acceptable, where do WE go to apply to have a GM give our guilds special treatment? :/

I'm sorry, Quinelle, but you are incorrect.

Game Masters do not moderate the forums and our Moderation Team does not interact with In-Game Support. If a thread is reported our Moderation Team will look into it and if the post is deemed to be a violation of our Code of Conduct it is addressed.

There is no favoritism and any perception to the contrary is completely circumstantial.

The screen shots provide no context nor is there an indication as to why the Game Master may have been there. Given the location it is possible that the guild had participated in a World Dragon kill and experienced an issue while attempting to interact or loot Azuregos, and that a Game Master was responding to the petitions generated. When addressing an entire guild we sometimes become visible, I used to do so myself when I was a Game Master.

Regardless, there is no connection between the two issues.

Please use the bio-hazard symbol to report any post that you believe violates our Code of Conduct. As stated in the Code of Conduct each department has its own channels for you to express any comments or concerns through.
