Nothing being done about harassment. Help.

There is a person who has targeted a friend of mine. They disagree on something and so he continued to harass her and have others spam her. To the point she's moved off the server. As a result, many of us guild members reported him. He has made threats to other guild members saying they would "regret" trying to report him.

He's gone so far as to come into our guild's ooc channel, wait to gain privileges and remove/ban us all from it and pw protect it. Before he did so, he brought in a couple buddies to bug us. I fear that this will just keep on going. It's making game play miserable and even though we report, nothing is being done about it.

Is there something else that I can do? Thanks.

I understand how frustrating it can be when you are experiencing an ongoing issue like this, Shaley. I wanted to offer a few tips and some insight on the situation.

Any of the players participating in this harassment of you and your guild mates should be reported, and never responded to. Often times, they are simply looking for a response for their own satisfaction. Placing them on ignore and reporting to our Game Masters each instance of this harassment is integral.

You may also want to know about our Penalty Volcano. We're not fond of outright removing people from play, and we like players to learn from their mistakes. However, if they don't quite get it and continue this behavior, each infraction will earn them a harsher punishment. It may be that these individuals just haven't quite learned yet. Unfortunate, but continued reporting will hopefully remedy that. ;)
