Cooldown for Account to Account Transfers?

I recently bought another WoW account, and used the Recruit a Friend feature with someone and leveled to 60 in about a week. Now, I wanted to transfer this character back to my main account, but I am getting a 30 day cooldown from when the new account was created. I couldnt find in the Account Transfer FAQ that a cooldown existed for new account transfers. Its really inconvienient to have to wait a month to level with my friend again. Is there any way to get this transfer approved, saying as its not mentioned anywhere as far as I know.
