So ya got a email from blizzard. blue true?

so ya i got a email from blizzard and 99% of the ones i get are fake just by looking at the poor spelling and such of it but i logged in to a email i hardly use anymore and had quite a few emails on there from blizz, some in my spam folder and some in my inbox.

now for the life of can not remember if i have a account with that email so im hoping a GM can look in to real quick. it isnt my main email address for wow so i have no issue for it being public and im not even 100% if i have a account on that email

It does appear as though you received a phishing email, Hiyohiyo. Keep in mind, we would have no reason to email a player to an email address that is not associated to their Battle.net account, or in the case the player still has an unmerged World of Warcraft account.

If you continue to receive phishing emails, please check the email headers as Jenosequah mentioned. Instructions on how to check the email headers can be found here:
