I just tried to upgrade my girlfriends account from trial to full version, and it said that my card number was not valid so i tried a few more times thinking that i was missing a number or something, and then it still did not work, so i went to the store to buy it and my card was denied , i had checked my account before attempting to upgrade and it said i had $178.00, when i checked again at the store, it said i had $18.00. now is this a blizzard issue and my card did go through multiple times and still didnt upgrade the account, or is this a bank messup? please respond quickly im freaking out due to the bills that are coming up soon.

What you are experiencing, Ghostydoom, is called “funds held”. You may see the held funds appear as “pending” or “authorized” as well.

Please rest assured that Blizzard Entertainment will not collect the funds for the pending transactions if the upgrade was not successful. The funds will generally reverse automatically within 3 – 5 business days; however, some financial institutions may hold the funds for up to 30 days, depending on their policies. If you would like to get the reversal of the funds held expedited, or if you would like to know how long the funds will be held for, please contact your financial institution for assistance.
