Open Ticket Disappeared?

Hi GMs,

I quit WoW a few years ago and while I was gone, my account was hacked and my high level characters were stripped and deleted (according to people on my server). I managed to get the account merged back with my new Battle.Net account, but none of my characters were restored. I opened a ticket in game with the name, race and class of each of my four deleted characters (including the one that I'm inexplicably able to post on...) last night. This morning, the ticket was gone and I didn't receieve an Email, any mail in game or have a conversation with a GM.

Did I somehow accidentally close the ticket by exiting WoW? Were they possibly still working on it but took the ticket down?

Thanks in advance!

From what I can see, Modairin, an investigation was launched to look into the possible compromise of the account and the transfers that took place. Unfortunately, since the compromise allegedly took place in 2007 we simply were unable to verify what happened.

An e-mail was sent to the e-mail address that was previously on this account. I can resend it to your current address if you wish.

I'm sorry to say that I am not certain what can be done at this point.

Q u o t e:
What does that mean? It's pretty obvious that I had a level 70 hunter and now I don't. I'm literally posting on it.

If it's really impossible to recover them, then I guess I'll be saving 15 dollars a month, so thank you for that at least.

Yes, it is obvious that you had a level 70 on the account and now you don't. What is not obvious is what happened to that level 70 beyond the fact that it was transferred off of this account to another. No evidence of a malicious transfer was found otherwise.

You are welcome to discuss this matter further with our Account administration department but much of what we may be able to do is limited by what we are able to verify.
