I understand that as a DK tank I have a stigma about me that i must overcome every time i get grouped with random people.

When I use my hunter the rule goes you attack the target the tank is attacking. Helps mitigate your own aggro and burns down the mobs faster. If you attack a target the tank is not targeting your run the risk of pulling aggro and ending up dead.

So I just ran my daily random and got ToC. No big deal a quick easy 2 badges. During this entire dungeon on each fight a 6k kingslayer mage is attack off targets from me. Not surprisingly pulling aggro. I would taunt the target back and say nothing. She continued. So i asked if she would target who i was targeting. Next pull same thing. So i brought the whole pile to her and switched to blood presence and stood there.

Once minimal chaos was over, she proceeded to call me a noob cause I couldn't hold aggro and that the fact that she was good meant she could do what she wanted. I argued and told her part of being good DPS was mitigating your own aggro. She disagreed and said i was fail cause i could not hold group aggro. Which yes they would break away from me but i would pick them back up after less than a sec.

So am I in the wrong, am I truly fail or was this mage just being a complete D bag?

I just know you start with the silverware on the outside first and work your way inward, toward the plate with every course.
