Hey all I just joined a guild about a week ago and I really like a lot of the members. Well after a couple days I started to notice them throw around the N word a lot. At first I thought they were using it in a joking manner till I got on the vent and you could really hear the hate in their voice. This is only a few of the members but it seems the others tolerate it. Since I am new to the guild and it's the first one I've joined where I actually like the members I didn't speak up. The more I hear them say it though the more it bothers me. What would you all do in this situation? Should I leave the guild and hope I find better or should I speak up and let them know it bothers me? Knowing that they'll flame me?

Q u o t e:
If you dont like a word they are using, leave the guild. You dont belong with them, and they dont deserve to have to have someone like you in it. They have the right to say whatever they want. Its a damn word for christs sake.

Actually, you'd be incorrect, Zeles. They do not have the right to say whatever they want, at least not in this Teen rated game. We have Terms of Use that everyone agreed to abide by.

Heythanksbud, I would agree with some of the advice given thus far. You are welcome to speak with your guild mates and request that they stop the use of the language though odds are that will simply make you a target for harassment.

It sounds like you simply may not fit in with their mindset so you may want to report the behavior and look for a guild that fits you better.
