my brother and I started playing on trial accounts recently. While on this trial my brother recieved a message that he was in violation of spamming policy.we didnt think much of it since there are so many people out there phishing for account info.we finally upgrade the accounts and my brother was banned within roughly 24 hours due to this supposed spam issue. Can someone tell me how he can violate a spamming policy when he cant even use the chat system with his trial account??

I am sorry to hear of the issue your brother is experiencing, Fistandanny. While I cannot provide specific account details of the account, I may be able to shed some light on the situation.

Q u o t e:
While on this trial my brother recieved a message that he was in violation of spamming policy.

Was this an in game whisper or did he receive a notification at the registered email address?

Can you please provide me a character name and realm on the account as well?

He got a communication in game that he was in violation of a spamming policy and should go to such and such website. We never looked the site up because we didnt do anything wrong and figured it was a phishing attempt.

This was indeed a phishing attempt.

Can you provide me a character name and realm on the account in question, Fistandanny.
