Is there any way to remove trial account restrictions on trade?

To be honest, it's really turning my friend off of the game that his level 16 character is still using level 8 spells because he's leveling too fast to get enough money to buy spells.

I'm guessing the restrictions are there to prevent gold selling, so If I call customer support to prove I'm not some chinese guy working in a cramped basement, do you think they can remove it?

Thanks.

If your friend upgraded the account recently via the Direct Online Upgrade feature, most in game communications will be restricted for up to 72 hours. Until the transaction completes, he will not be able to trade, chat, visit the Auction House, or receive mail. The leveling cap and the gold cap have been removed, however.

The restrictions are in place for security reasons and to allow sufficient time for the transaction to complete, Clydé. Unfortunately, the approval processing period cannot be overwritten by Account Services. Your friend will need to hold out just a bit longer.
