While that is true, Maliaofdeath, that is not all there is to it. The free character migration feature allows players to move characters from select high-population realms to select low population realms. Please refer to the "Free Character Move" option on the Account Management page for information on eligible realms: (https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/character-move-eligible-realms.html).
