Hello! Jot got a friend of mine to use one of my old trial keys. He had an account a while back, using the 10 day trial to get back into it. He also had to merge his battlenet, since he hasn't played since that change.

Once the 10 day trial is up an he chooses to subscribe, would the accountname and wow1 account merge? Or would he have to pay for both separately? If they're both under his battlenet could he have them merged somehow?

Thanks!

If I understand correctly, your friend has a previous account which he has linked into Battle.net. Was this account never upgraded?

If your friend never upgraded the trial account, he may wish to start a new account by accepting a Recruit-A-Friend invitation. The Recruit-A-Friend program allows veteran players, such as yourself, to invite new players into World of Warcraft. Some of the benefits of the Recruit-A-Friend program are triple experience, level granting, and the ability to summon one another.
