Server Transfer Error

Hello. I have not played in 5-6 months, just recently reactivated to play with RL friends. However I'm trying to server transfer and I'm encountering an error.

When I select the "transfer from" realm I am able to find the character and select him, the website says it is available for transfer "now" I hit the transfer button, and move on to select a server to transfer to....when I do select and click to proceed, I get a screen that just says, "error encountered" nothing else....

**note, just an extra bit of info, I am not attempting to transfer the character to another account, so the box is left unchecked, in case this has any bearing**

Please advise, thank you for your time. :)

When realms are taken out of service for maintenance, paid services are sometimes impacted.

Now that everything is back it may take a little while to work through a backlog.

I'd try all this again in the morning and see if things haven't sorted out. When realms are unavailable the data needed for more services is unavailable as well.
