Loot master D/C'd after boss died. What do!?

Our group just finished Deathbringer Saurfang. The leader was named Lleef. He was the loot master.
I was playing on this character.

Upon killing Deathbringer Saurfang, Lleef said he needed to log out for personal reasons. He promoted me to leader so I could distribute loot (AFTER we killed the boss). I'm unable to do so, because I was not loot master at the time we killed the boss. The player already logged out so we can't contact him.

The drops were Ramaladni's Blade of Culling and Leggings of Unrelenting Blood.


I made a ticket, and so did my real-life friend who was also in the group. (Name is Lærco)
I couldn't fit the entire description of the dilemma in one ticket, because there is a character limit for GM tickets.

What should I do!? I needed the Ramaladni's Blade of Culling, and a friend needed the Leggings!

Can any Blizzard poster help us? The GM ticket says "We are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions" So we may not get a response for a few days!
