Recruit-A-Friend Mount Question

I am in the process of recruiting a friend of mine. If he pays for his one-month subscription now, will I be able to receive the Touring Rocket mount if he pays for the two-month subscription later? If his first subscription payment is NOT the two-month, will I still be able to get the mount?

I'm starting to feel like I'm picking on you, Slipknotxz, and that is furthest from the truth. <3

To be clear, the Recruit a Friend subscription benefits (i.e. the 30 days of game time and the mount) can be earned even after the 90 day in-game benefits expire.
