Authenticator issues again..

Hello, I had a problem a few months ago when my account was hacked and they added an authenticator. Now my own authenticator is the issue. My friend has yet again allowed me to use his account for forum support.

My Blackberry with a mobile authenticator was wiped of it's memory due to a bug. Which included my authenticator. The problem is, my authenticator isn't the same code anymore so I cannot access my account. I need my current authenticator removed so that I can add my new one.

I'm very very sorry to be such a burden on the tech support. But I'd really like to get back into some arenas before the weekend is over.

My characters name is: Shatter-Fizzcrank and Nicklondon-Fizzcrank.

Since I cannot give my email on the forums I gave my character names. This is my friend's account and I cannot access my account to post a thread.

I sent a battle.net ticket but they were not very helpful.. I don't have a printer to sign the TOU form. I can send a photocopy of my ID if needed. But I figured since I had luck in the forums last time i should try it again before having to drive to a kinkos... Please, I'd like this to be as hasslefree as possible.

Thanks! ~Nicholas

Billing & Account Services would be the best ones to help you with this issue, Wâffle. They may be able to work with you to provide a different method of verification if you give them a call.

You may contact Billing by phone at 1 (800) 592-5499 between the hours of 7am to 8pm Pacific Standard Time, any day of the week. Oceanic players should instead dial 1-800-041-378. Alternatively, you can send an e-mail to [email protected].

Q u o t e:
So... let me understand this. Had I said the account was hacked by someone else, they would remove it no problem... But when I want something of mine removed, I can't have it done without going through a grueling process?

Gotta love standards.. I do appreciate the help, but some procedures need to be revised...

If you do feel there need to be some revisions to our policy, Wâffle, please let us know in the Suggestion forums. Contrary to popular belief, those forums are for all feedback, including policies, and not just in-game changes. =)
