Friend Was Hacked

So I was online last night when my friend, who hasn't played in months, logged on. He didn't respond to our whispers or anything. He just flew around WG farming. So today I asked my friend on IM if he was on WOW last night. He said no, cuz he canceled the account and he didn't care if anyone hacked it or not. My question is: should I be concerned that someone is using my friend's account with my pending Realid request? and what should I do about it?

Please submit and in game ticket, although your friend may not care at the moment, it will help in the future if and when he decides to return or not.
