a gm to ban a botter?
i was in wg yesterday on my main (rogue) kicking a botter every time he tried to mine ore. Then i would kill his pet because he was a huntard, he would revive it and i'd kill it again. He then mounted up and flew up into the air only to come back down and try to mine the same exact vein and i would kick him again, he would revive his pet i'd kill it he would revive it again. Once he was out of mana he would sit still and occasionally jump up. Either way he is a bot and i got a near instant gm reply but how long will it be until he gets banned?

The time it takes to action someone reported for botting may vary, Andron. There are several factors that come into play here; first an in-depth investigation must be done. There are many time a player is reportedly botting, though through looking at our logs we determine that it is a legitimate player. These characters will, for obvious reasons, not be actioned.

Once the investigation has been completed we gather the information we have compiled, and use that information to aid us in future proactive searches we do. All in all, this process can take time, but we do try to have any botters out of the game as quickly as possible. Please continue to report alleged botters to us, Andron.
