I think my account got jacked...

I quit playing sometime in February or March, and just came back to the game yesterday. Two of my characters are missing all of their equipment, and my main has bags full of leather, but all his gear still. Also my HS on my main was set to a relatively random location (The Argent Stand in Zul Drak).

I don't know how it happened, after having stopped playing, I did absolutely nothing with WoW; went to know sites, followed no links - I was done. But this isn't really about how it happened, it's about getting my stuff restored, if at all possible.

What do I have to do to get the ball rolling on that? Forgive me for the question, it's been a long, long time. =]

Aye, looks like someone had their way with this back in April.

You first and foremost need to make certain your security is tight, both on any system you may play on or log into these forums with, as well as making certain your email is secure.

Reporting this via ingame petition will get the ball rolling on an investigation - but this has been quite some time. On a report this old, results can vary a lot. We can only restore what we can verify I'm afraid. We'll be happy to look and do what we can.

Do make sure to note in your report this was from some time ago, a time frame will be helpful. Most of this looks like it happened during April.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
