So, having just bought a new PC, I started installing WoW, anticipating with glee the digital happy coma of my favorite game on a kick ass system. I installed Vanilla and BC from disks I had but soon realized I had purchesed WOTLK on the web. So I went to Battle.net and accessed my account and started the download process. Hours later sitting at 17% I knew something was wrong.

I researched and found that the situation might imrove if I port-forward my firewall and router to allow blizzard downloader to have unadulterated access to my system. another 2 hours configuring firewall and router and i was set for speedy download. its now 6 hours after that, im at 75% and moving along at 130KBS.....KBS ? [inappropriate acronym removed] , I've been pwned by blizzard support.

If you are going to offer your game for online sales then for gods sake atleast have the systems capable of delivering it. I downloaded warhammer and champions online in 1/2 the time I've spent trying to download wotlk today, which i have owned since it came out.

My point is, from a customer care perspective...this sucks.

I doesn't sound like you actually contacted Blizzard Support/Customer Support, Ginness, so I'm not entirely certain how you can say that it is poor.

You can say that you are unhappy with your experience while attempting to download the client and that it was not as clear or easy or fast as you would have hoped it would be.

Did you visit our Technical Support forum to see if they could help you troubleshoot your issue?
