BUG: Your pet is / is not dead

Apparently Schrödinger was a hunter. My pet is currently both dead and not dead, according to the game interface. I lost my pet tallstrider while marching through a zone a bit above my level [I'm currently playing on Ramapo-Lost Isles, level 21; this occured in Arathi Highlands. Instead of reviving my pet, I figured, hey, I should check the level of my second active pet, maybe I should level him for a bit.

Summon pet #2. Oh, okay, he's only level 18, that isn't too bad.

Dismiss.

Summon pet #1. Your pet is dead. Okay, no problem.

Revive pet. Your pet is not dead.

Well... balls. I can neither summon nor revive my pet.

We're looking into this. This seems to be happening when a pet dies after you tame it, but before you logout. To prevent this, logout out after you tame a new pet =). Thanks!
