Character Level on Forums wrong: AGAIN!

I don't know what it is with certain characters of mine, but I am consantly seeing certain characters show up on the forums as being in the wrong guild, wrong level, etc.

This character, Gawdzeela, has been a L80 for 15 months now. Yet once again, I'm showing on up on the WoW forums as a L72.

What causes this? And why does this keep happening?

I have checked on this issue for you, Gawdzeela, and to remedy the situation you must perform the following steps:

  • Log out of the Forum with Gawdzeela.
  • Log into the Forum with an alternate character and post with this alternate character.
  • Log back into the Forum on Gawdzeela. You should now see the character as a level 80.

As your fellow players mentioned, this will force the character information to update.
