I’m looking into getting a new pet this weekend; already have everything I need to offer her a nice home for the foreseeable future. I have to make sure she is still available, but if she is I would be interested in some suggestions for names. Would anyone be interested in throwing out ideas?

She is a fairly young (I believe she was 8 weeks old when I first met her 2 weeks ago) Colombian Red Tail Boa with gorgeous pink coloration to her lower sides.

Is there a particular style of names you like?

I could name her Aurora, could be cute; the pink coloration being a play off the pink dress that Sleeping Beauty is most often depicted wearing.

Names vary greatly for me. They have to fit the animal and the temperament of that animal. My last snake-ball python-was named Sly because I didn’t know, upon getting him, if he was a boy or a girl. So, Sly: short for Sylvester if it was a boy or Sylvia if the snake turned out to be a girl. I have had a leopard gecko named Tortuga, and a few turtles that were “family pets” when I was growing up.
