Transfer+Faction Change Name Flag

Hello,

I transfered my shaman (this toon) to Kil"Jaeden 6 days ago and then proceeded to do a faction change. It took me 3 days to think of a name on this high pop server and now I'm hit with the "flagged for rename" issue. :(

I checked these forums and it seemed like the best option was to open a ticket and request the flag removed by a GM. 3 days later GM's response is to call billing services (which everybody knows has a ridiculous queue time). Is there any other way to get this resolved I really feel like it's such a minor issue! I don't want to give up my name but I will if I have too QQ.

I am very sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this may have caused, Amarea. It looks like your petition is currently in the hands of one of our Game Masters and they should be able to have this fixed up for you fairly soon.

What fraction were you going for? I'm partial to 2/3rds, myself. :D

Seriously though, Trigan, what do you mean you haven't got the faction change yet? Are you still waiting for it to be approved?

If completed have you launched the game and seen if the option to select your new race and factions is available? If you were already playing another character you'll need to log completely out before logging into the game again.
