Upgrading my account

So yesterday I bought WoW online, upgrading from the free trial. No problems there. However I did have problems when I try to upgrade to The Burning Crusade.

After I enter my authentication key (here: https://us.battle.net/account/management/add-game.html) i hit the activate game button. It takes me to another screen where it says "Upgrade your account with The Burning Crusade.". I hit continue. However, after I hit continue it takes me to the page where I started out and gives me the following message in a red box "The following problems have occured: An error has occured."

I've been trying this since last night. Eventually, I got sick of waiting to play Burning Crusade and downloaded the free trial. I'm on a Mac OS X 10.6.4 and have tried it on two different internet browsers (Safari and Firefox).... Help?

Is the account you are posting on the one that is experiencing this issue, Undelle? If so, it does appear that your account is still in the “pending” portion of processing the upgrade to the full version of World of Warcraft. Once this period has passed, and the process has been finalized, then you should be able to apply the Burning Crusade retail code. It appears that you are currently utilizing the Burning Crusade Trial, any advancement that you make using this will carry over when you upgrade your account, so feel free to utilize the trial to its full extent. :0)
