Operation: Gnomeregan Canceled?

Now that I have your attention I would like to say that I know it is not canceled, I would hope that after all the time and effort the Blizzard artists, writers and programmers have put in it would not be canceled. However it is taking a much longer time to go live than I was expecting. My five man group that meets every Monday is getting bored and we really want something new we can do together before the expansion.

Please, I've had my hopes up for far too long and I'm starting to get frustrated. Is Operation: Gnomeregan going to come out before the expansion? Is it coming out any time soon? Is Blizzard holding it back because it is the last content patch before the expansion?

Thank you for your time and I really hope there's a Blue out there who can give me some answers, even if the answer is, "Blizzard won't let us say."

The plans for the operation are ongoing. Do not fear. We'll let you know when the call goes out. Then we shall see what heights the gnomes can truly rise up to!

I am exalted champion of my people with a squire running around with the symbol of my people and I am grinding away at the tabard of my people.

All so I can drive those rock eating home stealing bad breath having nose picking troggs out of Gnomeregan and put them all to the sword.
