Q u o t e:
i understand that but i still want to talk to a gm so if everyone would kindly stop posting the same thing moreless *spamming* my thread id muchly appreciate it :)
I'm not certain what you would need to speak with a Game Master about, Spartan. The folks who have posted thus far and told you to forward the e-mail to our Hacks department have provided you with the correct information. If you spoke with a Game Master in game they would also give you the same information.
I would add though a link to our stickied thread on Fake/Phishing e-mails. That link contains advice on how to spot phishing e-mails by looking at the source header as well as how to determine if a link in the e-mail goes where it says it does. There are also examples of some of the more common phishing e-mails that we have seen.
Fake E-mails from "Blizzard Entertainment"
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=965511383&sid=1 I would also like to draw attention to in-game whisper phishing attempts as well. More information on these can be found in the following Support Article.
More information on this and how you can recognize a Blizzard employee can be found in the following support article.
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=30829 I understand your concern for your fellow players, Spartan, though there is little that our In-Game Support staff will be able to do regarding external e-mails, our Hacks team will do what they can though, thank you.
