Trial randomly activated on account?

I have my main WoW account with my battle net, and underneath it there was another WoW "account" that was greyed out and it was obviously a trial, but since it was greyed out I didnt pay much attention though.

Now, however, the account is lit up and seems to be active and I did nothing to trigger this. I know it is going to bug me to have two accounts show up in wow when i start it up.

What caused this account to activate? Why is it doing this? The account name is WoW1 by the way. Very odd.

Hi Jschuler,

This can often times happen if you are logged on to your battle.net account page and somehow managed to click on the ‘add trial’ button. Unfortunately at this time there is no confirmation window to go along with it, so it simply auto adds the trial.

Can you let me know if you wish to get the WoW1 trial account removed?

I took care of it! :) . Check your account again. You should no longer be prompted for WoW1.

Hi Irezumi,

The trial account you are referring to was created several weeks back and is currently expired. The procedure is a bit different, you would have to go through our billing and account services team. In Jschuler’s case, the trial had just been created.

A detailed request sent via e-mail would be sufficient to get the trial account removed. As mentioned above, the e-mail is [email protected]

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
