Phishing Emails = Hotmail

I have been tracking the phishing issue and with an extremely high level of the emails coming from Hotmail I am curious why Blizzard hasn't addressed this with Microsoft?

Anyways. lately ive been getting emails about "Oh your account is compromised click this link" or "Your email in your battle.net has been changed etc"

Then log into battle.net with my authenticator to see everything is just fine.

So what i would like to know is what is the best way to make sure something is "legit" or not
