RAF issue - Blue Tracker

Hi,

I've recently recruited a friend, but have not received any bonus from RAF. The issue that we had was that both I and my friend are in Europe but play on the US servers. When sending a RAF invite out from my US account, Battle.net would not recognise that I was requesting a US trial for my friend and instead only gave her the option of a European trial.

She signed up to that unknowingly, and then found out it was the wrong area. After a little exploration of the US site, we were able to get her signed up to the US trial, so she now has 2 trials linked to her account. The RAF tool however doesn't see that she's signed up to either.

Would it be possible to link her account to mine via RAF?

It sounds as though she may have signed up for just a basic trial account and not a Recruit-A-Friend trial, Qe.

I show that you have 4 open Recruit-A-Friend invitations, which have not been claimed. Were any of those invitations sent to her? If so, and she received them, she should be able to create yet another trial on the same Battle.net account she already set up, this time through the Recruit-A-Friend program.

The fact that she lives in Europe will not prevent her from creating a North American account. It does appear as though she has a European Battle.net account, which would prompt her to download the game client for that region.

If she has the European game client downloaded she will want to completely uninstall this client.

Next, do you happen to know what her Battle.net email address is? If so, I will need this information before moving forward. Do not provide her email in the thread. Instead, please click on the “Options” box located under your avatar in the upper right corner. Add her email address in the proper field and click “Accept”.

Please update the thread once you have performed the above.

If you were both logged into the game, please exit the game completely. Wait about 10 minutes and log back in.

You may wish to log into a low level character that is within 3 levels of the character she is logged in with. If you are both logged out in the same area, invite her to a party and try to kill a mob that is not gray for either of you. You must also be within 100 yards of one another as well. You should now receive triple experience, which you can verify by viewing the combat log.

If you not near one another, invite her to a party. You should now be able to summon her as well.
